Artist Greg Gossel

Reminds me of those subway billboards showing through newly ripped new sheets. A great articulation of the familiar and the energy of the city.Greg Cossel

The High Line Project Slide Show

I really can't wait for the opening of the High Line Project, currently under construction in Chelsea. So futuristic, yet so warm, it's a one of a kind urban renewal project that is sure to be copied many times over in cities around the world (not to mention, a replica in Las Vegas?). Click on the photos below for a link to the official site and for a full slide show with much larger images.

Urban Light Art

Found a comprehensive blog entry by WebUrbanist about Light Art. It's an interesting form of expression that seems to have universal appeal. It's probably more impressive in person than seeing it in stills and videos. I think the current Sprint campaign unfortunately illustrates that point by its slickly executed TV and print.
